Darby Photography was established in 1981 and specializes in weddings , commercial, aerial and portrait photography. My journey began 30 years ago as a photographer for the Stars & Stripes newspaper while I was in the Army in Germany. Although I have had a number of assignments for photography in other fields, I have concentrated on weddings and other special events over the last 22 years. I have photographed over 1,000 weddings and produced brochures for numerous corporations.

Darby Photography has established a reputation as of one of southeast Louisiana’s premier photography studios. Personalized service and exquisite product excite clients to return for images that become heirlooms for many generations to come. Many have returned with their first baby. It is a real privilege to capture the first image of a new family who you got to know on their wedding day. We may laugh with you on your wedding day, we may even laugh at you, but, we always remember that is your day and we are privileged observers of a sacred and amazing event. That is what our wedding photography is all about.
